David L. Tomblin established Tomblin & Associates with his parents, David and Mary Tomblin, in 1974. In 1981, Ann Tomblin joined the family partnership. In 1992, Tomblin Asset Management Group, Inc. was formed as the real estate asset and project management company to oversee the Tomblin & Associates investment portfolio and affiliated real estate partnerships. Over the years, our family partnership has invested in and completed numerous projects including, multi-family housing, mobile home and RV parks and communities, small retail and commercial projects, value added rehabilitation of buildings, and land development. Tomblin & Associates, Tomblin Asset Management Group, Inc., and its affiliated partnerships and companies, currently owns and manages $158,000,000 in real estate assets. Since 1974, the related Tomblin entities have owned and managed real estate assets and projects totaling $787,000,000.

To use and capitalize on 35 years of experience during its fourth real estate downturn, Tomblin Realty Group has been established. Tomblin Realty Group will bring together the investment, acquisition, management, development, and rehabilitation skills of experience the Tomblin entities have to offer, in order to take advantage of one of the best real estate investment opportunities in over 15 years.

Our mission is to seek out investment opportunities in high quality and value added real estate projects, as we have successfully done in the last four real estate market turndowns. Tomblin Realty Group follows the Plan A, Plan B, Plan C investment criteria for each project to maximize return on investment. Tomblin Realty Group is proud of our continued business report card of 90% of our projects successfully giving a return on investment. 8% were not successful in giving a return on investment, but returned the original capital investment or a substantial percentage thereof. 2% of our real estate projects have been closed out with no return of original investment due to investor vote. This 90% success rate has been directly attributable to our three plan investment criteria for each project. This experience of both our successes and our challenges, have strengthened our foundation as a long term and profitable real estate investment group.

Throughout the numerous projects that we have been involved in, we have acquired knowledge and experience in every facet of real estate from the raw land to the finished product.
